SmartSOCIAL ZOHO: Add LinkedIn Profile field in CRM

ZOHO CRM recently released an update featuring a new User Interface. These instructions will get you set up in the new User Interface.

To save LinkedIn Profiles with SmartSOCIAL ZOHO, you must add a 'LinkedIn Profile' custom URL field to the Leads and Contacts Modules of Zoho CRM.

Add 'LinkedIn Profile' Custom URL Field



1. Click Settings Icon > Click on Setup (screenshot above)

2. Under Customization > Click Modules.

3. Select 'Contacts' or 'Leads'.

4. From the New Fields Tray on the left, drag and drop the URL field type into the desired module section on the right. We recommend that the LinkedIn profile URL be somewhere at the top (see Screenshot 1 below) as it makes it easier to edit and see immediately. However you can place it anywhere that works for you.

5. Name the field exactly 'LinkedIn Profile' (case sensitive).

6. Click Save Layout.

Business Card View



When viewing a Contact or Lead, the summary provided by Zoho at the top of the Contact or Lead view (screenshot above) is called the Business Card View.

We recommend adding the LinkedIn Profile to the business card view, in order to have immediate access to the most up to date and relevant information about your Contact or Lead. 

Add 'LinkedIn Profile' to Business Card View



1. Click on the three dots > Click Customize Business Card



2. Select 'LinkedIn Profile' on the Available Field List

3. Move the 'LinkedIn Profile' field from Available Field List to Selected Field List by clicking the right arrow. After moving it, your business card view configuration should look similar to the screenshot above.

4. Click Save.
