SmartSOCIAL ZOHO: Quick Start Guide

This guide is aimed to get you up and running with SmartSOCIAL ZOHO to use it to it's full potential.

Note: You need to ensure that you are logged into LinkedIn on another tab on your computer.

Step 1: Configure a LinkedIn Profile field

To configure the 'LinkedIn Profile' Custom URL Field please read this.

Step 2: Add a LinkedIn URL to a contact

It is easy to add a LinkedIn Profile URL to an existing Contact / Lead. For example, to add Warren's LinkedIn profile.

  1. Create a contact for 'Warren Sherliker' (you can delete it later)
  2. Expand SmartSOCIAL (make sure you have entered your license name and key already)
  3. Click on the search result in SmartSOCIAL, to view Warren's profile.

4. Click the Get URL button on SmartSOCIAL ZOHO, when viewing Warren's profile. This will display a prompt to copy the relevant LinkedIn address.



5. Click on 'Edit' link on the Warren Sherliker contact and paste in the LinkedIn Profile in the LinkedIn Profile URL field and Save.

Step 3: Test a contact

A Contact or Lead must have a LinkedIn Profile field containing a LinkedIn URL for SmartSOCIAL ZOHO to display the relevant LinkedIn Profile automatically as we showed in Step 2.

Test this out by going to the 'Warren Sherliker' record, SmartSOCIALZOHO will display the relevant LinkedIn profile, simple as that.
