SOLUTION: SmartSOCIAL and the 'LinkedIn refuses to connect' error

We now have a workaround for this error message. We are talking to Google about a fix to SmartSOCIAL CORE to solve this in the longer term. Currently though you can do the below if you really need to get up and running again.

Workaround

  1. Install the ModHeaders Chrome extension 
  2. Visit and copy all the text displayed here
  3. Click the ModHeaders icon: 
  4. Click the three dots top right, select 'Import profile(s)' and paste in the copied text.: 

  5. Click Import.
You should now find LinkedIn appears correctly for you.
