SmartMAILCHIMP and SmartDOTDIGITAL: Consent Explained
The consent channel (consent with no category) is a new feature in RENXT and is required.
There is an overall channel consent (Email) and then, within that, you have categories, i.e., Email > All communications. When you add consent for an Opt-In (or Opt-out) and the main channel consent is not present or does not match, we will adjust it to fit, i.e., add an Email Opt-in and an Email > All communications opt-in. Therefore, you may see two consent records in RE (one without a channel). This is not a bug; it is simply how consent works now.
This is due to the way the new RENXT consent tile works.
Regarding the opt-outs, yes, the flows for those are still enabled.
