Dealing with constituents that share an email address in Raiser's Edge

The email marketing platform you are using will only allow unique email addresses in a given Audience or List of Contacts.
Raiser's Edge allows different constituents to share the same email address.
When setting up your integration we need to defer to the external email marketing platform and make sure the Raiser's Edge NXT List we are using to facilitate the sync, also only contains unique emails.
Where you have constituents that share an email address, and are also present in your Raiser' Edge NXT List, you need to exclude constituents so your List only contains unique email addresses.
You can do this by adding a solicit code to the constituents you want to remove from the List and then adding this code as an exclude criteria. This is demonstrated in the image below by the "SmartMAILCHIMP Duplicate" solicit code.
