Exclude constituents from your Raiser's Edge NXT List that do not want to receive email

When we set up your integration, we want to ensure that constituents that have requested not to receive email are excluded from the Raiser's Edge NXT List we are using to facilitate the sync. The use of a "Do not email" solicit code is a good way to exclude these records.

However, it is important to note that there are other ways to record a "Do not email" request in Raiser's Edge that are not available as exclude criteria in a Raiser's Edge NXT List.

You can see in the database view image below the "Do not contact" and "Requests no email" flags. If you have any constituents in your Raisers' Edge that have either of these flags but do not have a "Do not email" solicit code, it is important that the solicit code is added to these constituents so they can be excluded from your Raiser' Edge NXT List.
