SmartZIP BBIS/BBNC: Set up instructions
This guide takes you through installing SmartZIP in your Blackbaud NetCommunity (BBNC) or Internet Solutions (BBIS) website as a custom part. It will then be available to you just like any other BBNC/BBIS part, so you can place it on pages where you want address completion to fire i.e. event registration pages, donation pages, sign up pages etc.
Step 1 - Install SmartINSTALLER and SmartZIP
Follow the guide here to install SmartINSTALLER and the section 'SmartINSTALLER: Adding a custom part' section using your SmartZIP license details which have been provided to you by SmartTHING.
Step 2 - Ensure you have your Loqate service key
If SmartTHING have not already supplied you a Loqate (previously known as PCA Predict) key you can contact our team to do so or follow this step by step guide.
Once you have your key please note it for Step 3.
Step 3 - Add SmartZIP to your website page(s)
To use SmartZIP, you create a 'New Part' of type 'SmartZIP' in your BBNC/BBIS website and add it to the page(s). Once added to a page it will automatically add autocomplete features to address fields in OTHER parts on that page i.e. donation forms, event registration forms etc.
The same SmartZIP part can be used on many pages and used across your site on multiple pages.
When you create the SmartZIP part you will be asked for your PCA key, use the value from Step 2.
