SmartSYNC: Integrate your Event Forms

Using web forms with SmartSYNC

Organisations could use any number of online form providers as long as they support webhooks for the submitted data. There may be one built into their website CMS for instance or they can use JotForms, WuFoo, Zoho Survey etc. Anyway, there is a system out there that allows any client to build a custom form, embed it in their website and have it post results to a webhook.

SmartSYNC can then provide the webhook URL you need for the form to post it's results to. That in term allows you to pipe the information to other applications.

Example: An web form flow to the Blackbaud Raiser's Edge database

An example would be an online form for gathering volunteer information, this form would be built using WuFoo forms for instance and added to the clients website.

A new flow would be added in SmartSYNC with a Webhook event - this would provide the URL to use for the webhook setting in WuFoo forms. The flow could then take that data and match against RE NXT records, update/create a record for the person, address, phone, email etc. It could then add custom field values for the other form questions or better, a note or action to cover the other info in the form.
