SmartSYNC: Access NFP Donations to Raiser's Edge

SmartSYNC: Access NFP Donations to Raiser's Edge

Access NFP provide their Appeal ID with each donation, we need to map this to the equivalent Campaign, Fund and Appeal in Raiser's Edge (RE). This page takes you through finding the Appeal ID and how to create a SmartSHEET to provide a mapping between this and RE.

How to find Access NFP Appeal IDs

This is a fairly simple if laborious process: You can find these by editing the appeal and noting the URL: i.e https://www.mydomain.org/Manager/Appeals.aspx?idPost=3d728485-5e8c-4b48-bd50-13dddb1d131c where 3d728485-5e8c-4b48-bd50-13dddb1d131c is the Appeal ID.

As a shortcut you can from the 'List appeals' page right click on the appeal link (i.e. STREET CRICKET APPEAL) and select 'Copy link address'. This will give you the appeal edit page URL as above. it is quicker when trying to gain all the IDs for your appeals:

Create your SmartSHEET

To provide the mapping feature we need a SmartSHEET with the first column containing the Access NFP Appeal ID and the other columns being the Raiser's Edge Appeal, Campaign, Fund and Package. We will create a row per Appeal ID. An example would be:

Appeal ID
Appeal

Fund
Package

Annual Fund 2023/24
