If you are using SmartSTOREOLX and wish to gather additional information during the purchase process you can do so using standard Online Express functionality. An example would be using SmartSTORE to gather class registrations where you would like to include the child's name in the gathered information. To do this you would need to add a gift attribute to the OLX donation form that SmartSTORE uses e.g. this field could have a label 'Your child's name's' and be a required value. The gift, when it arrives in Raiser's Edge would then have this gift attribute containing the child's name.
