SmartOUTLOOK NXT PRO: Setup

Step 1: Verify SmartOUTLOOK NXT installation

Ensure that the SmartOUTLOOK NXT extension is installed. The link and installation instructions are provided to you in your SmartOUTLOOK NXT license email.

Step 2: Add the SmartOUTLOOK NXT application to RE NXT

Please read this article to ensure that SmartOUTLOOK NXT is added to your RE NXT.

Step 3: Verify access to PRO subscription

Visit SmartOUTLOOK Settings to see your subscription status. By default SmartOUTLOOK NXT PRO version is disabled (screenshot below). You can upgrade by getting in touch with us. If you’re already a SmartOUTLOOK NXT paid user you will have PRO features enabled.

Step 4: Authorise / Enable PRO

  1. Click the 'Authorize' button, as shown in screenshot b. This will open the Blackbaud application authorization window (screenshot c).
  2. Click 'Authorise' in Blackbaud authorization window
  3. PRO for SmartOUTLOOK NXT is now enabled. You will see appropriate constituent information within Gmail when viewing an email (screenshot d).
