SmartENHANCE: LinkedIn - How to configure the required account

We use Brightdata to provide the LinkedIn profile and search features required for our product. You will need to set up an account and provide us with the API token and zones. To do this follow the steps below.
Note: the BrightData Privacy Policy is detailed on their website

Create your account

  1. Visit BrightData and follow their sign-up process

Get your API token

  1. Go to your account settings and note your API token [API TOKEN].

  2. Edit the token using the three dots 'Change expiration date', click 'unlimited' and Save

Configure your zones

  1. Visit the Proxies & Scraping page
  2. Click on the 'SERP API' > 'Get started' button, leave all values as they are but copy the zone name [SERP ZONE]. Click 'Add'.
  3. Click on the 'Web Unlocker API' > 'Get started' button, leave all values as they are but copy the zone name [UNLOCKER ZONE]. Click 'Add'.

Finalise your setup

Send the details to SmartTHING securely. We suggest using https://send.smartthing.org:
  1. API token: API TOKEN
  2. SERP zone: SERP ZONE
  3. Web unlocker zone: UNLOCKED ZONE
