SmartBANKVALIDATION: Install Instructions

To install this part we suggest you first install SmartINSTALLER which will do the hard work for you... If you have any problems get in touch with our team at support@smartthing.org and we will be sure to get you up and running.

Note: BBNC => NetCommunity and BBIS => Internet Solutions and our parts work in both.

Step 1 - Install SmartINSTALLER and SmartBANKVALIDATION

Follow the guide here to install SmartINSTALLER and to add the SmartBANKVALIDATION Custom part. When adding the custom part, please use the following:

  • Product name: 'SmartBANKVALIDATION'
  • Username and product key will have already been supplied to you by email.

Step 2 - Ensure you have your PCA Predict service key

If SmartTHING have not already supplied you a PCA predict key you can contact our team to do so or follow this step by step guide.

Once you have your key please note it for Step 3.

Step 3 - Create the Part in BBNC/BBIS
  • Create a new part and select "SmartBANKVALIDATION" as the part type, type in a name of the new part and click next.
  • Within part settings (screenshot below), add the PCA Key you had noted from Step 2 into the PCA Key field.
  • Enter the error that your website will display to your users when they fail their bank validation. e.g. 'Please enter valid bank account details'
  • Then save the part
