SmartGMAIL works with Raiser's Edge (RE) Windows application (started by clicking an icon), RE Database View/Citrix and Raiser's Edge NXT through a web browser. Depending on which version you use you will have to install different versions of our product. Follow the steps below to accomplish this.

This is the most common configuration and is the older version of Raiser's Edge either through Citrix or started as a windows application.

If you use Chrome please install our Chrome Extension - this changes the 'Show original' menu item (in the menu in the top right of an email when viewing it) to read 'Record in RE'. When you want to record an email in RE you choose this menu item.

You don't need to do anything other than when viewing an email use the menu in the top right and select 'Show original' to start recording the email.

Please install our NXT specific Chrome extension. Once installed reload the RE NXT and GMAIL web tabs in your browser and click the 'b' icon top right of GMAIL to configure the tool.
