How secure is my data in SmartEMAIL, SmartOUTLOOK and SmartGMAIL?
We do not use servers for our SmartOUTLOOK, SmartGMAIL, SmartOUTLOOK NXT or SmartGMAIL NXT products: all the data you move between your email system and Raiser's Edge is kept within your web browser and computer. It is therefore as secure as if you had manually copied your email into Raiser's Edge yourself.
SmartEMAIL our automated email recording tool, which works with Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo and all other common email clients, uses Zapier as a backend. Zapier is one of the world's leading service providers and has the level of security you would expect from them. Your emails are read from the email client and then piped through Zapier's servers to the Raiser's Edge NXT servers. The transit is logged within Zapier for your reference, and Zapier has archiving methods in place for your logs so they expire after a certain time. To find out more about Zapier please refer to:
