Force sync fields in Raiser's Edge with limited SKY API access to external applications

How to force updates to data in external applications where there is limited API access in Raiser's Edge NXT

In certain areas of Raiser's Edge NXT, the functionality in relation to the SKY API is limited. This may mean a field value can be accessed via the API but functions like delete, update and add are not possible.
