Blackbaud hosted clients find that clicking an email address launches Outlook, unfortunately there is no way to stop this. There are, however, quick workarounds for getting the email address:

 

The best option is to change the RE settings for the email phone type to ‘Other’ (which makes it plaint text and it does not then try to launch Outlook).

 

Alternatively click on the word email rather than the address itself. Then press tab and copy which copies the email address ready for use in local Outlook.

 

Please note in either case you can still record emails that you have sent through Outlook in the normal way.
