Can I do anything else while the list is being copied into my ‘ONE OF’ criteria?
Unfortunately not. the program works by impersonating you typing in each ID code so you need to make sure you don’t touch the keyboard or mouse while it is running. It is also important that other programs don’t take control of your computer during this period. For example Outlook popping up a new mail message will cause problems. If you find that this does interrupt the process just exit the offending program whilst you are pasting data.
NOTE — we have made improvements to this area so we try to maintain focus on Raiser’s Edge during the paste process, this appears to be working well. However, we always need feedback in order to improve so please let us know via the helpdesk if this is still an issue.
